I knew I could give much more to the world than being a commercial director. I can give you a dream! I am the hope that you can change your life whenever you want.
I paint in different styles and techniques and am happy and proud to show you how I feel. Marketing specialists say I must choose one way of painting and promote myself in that. My answer is NO. After living in one of the most restricted states for 20 years, I do not want to restrict my creativity. Today I paint realistic pictures of our beautiful world. Tomorrow I might feel like an impressionist. Yesterday I created terrific pictures with soft pastel. I also make interior pictures because I love them!
I am Catherine Varadi. If you're here watching my paintings, you might be curious about who I am. I was born in the Soviet Union, in Moscow, and had a fantastic family. I studied philology at Moscow Lomonosov University and graduated with honors. Besides English, I studied Hungarian and German, which determined my life as I met my husband in Budapest, Hungary. We've been together for over 30 years, have two beautiful sons, and a clever dog. In Budapest, I graduated from the Hungarian Foreign Trade Institute with honors. My husband and I founded LAVECO Limited in 1991, and I worked as the commercial director for almost three decades.
So, where does the art start? Till the age of 52, I never painted. I was an average wife, mother, daughter, dog owner, and businesswoman. On January 21, 2020, when COVID took its first steps in the world, I started painting.

My paintings will add plenty of good, warm, positive energy to your home or office. I love this world and am grateful for the talent I received from God. I do not want to do anything but ART in my life. I want to earn my living and help others, donating to disabled children, elderly people, and abandoned animals.
